Hee Su Jeon

Heesu Jeon is a Korean contemporary artist whose work explores the boundaries between reality and fiction through painting, drawing, and the visual language of comics and games.

Blending familiar imagery with humour, black comedy, and unexpected narratives, Jeon transforms everyday experiences into scenes that feel both playful and strangely unsettling. His works often blur the line between the real and imagined, inviting viewers to reconsider what feels familiar.

Jeon holds MFAs from Chung-Ang University and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). He has held numerous solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Korea and internationally, and currently lives and works in Seoul.
